About
Danielle LeDesma
I’m an art director and graphic designer specializing in environmental graphic design, with a background that spans branding, marketing, and all kinds of creative projects. I’m drawn to work that tells a story, creates a sense of place, and gives people something to connect with.
Before going independent, I recently led Environmental Graphic Design at Electronic Arts, a global leader in gaming and digital entertainment. As Design Manager, Workplace Strategy & Design, I guided workplace EGD projects from early strategy and concept development through final installation including development of guidelines and best practices. In this role, I blended creative and project leadership with hands-on design creating experiences that connect people and place with EA’s brands and franchises while reflecting the local culture and identity of each location. I also collaborated with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, provided brand guidance, created designs and production artwork, and partnered with architects, vendors, and trades to bring identity and meaning to both new and existing spaces.
My approach is simple: understand who we’re designing for and why it matters, bring the right people and perspectives together, and stay flexible as the work evolves. I value curiosity, collaboration, and being open to different ways of thinking. Before focusing on environmental graphic design, I shaped creative direction and design for EA Mobile marketing, spanning brand strategy, design systems, creative team leadership, storefront design, promotions, and global performance-based marketing campaigns. That range of experience gives me a strong foundation in visual storytelling and a multidisciplinary approach to solving creative challenges.
Outside of work, I enjoy wandering through museums and galleries (proud Seattle Art Museum member!), watching anime and animation, reading a good book, and taking walks. I’m a fan of great stories, unexpected details, and anything that makes me stop and see something in a new way.
