Overview
This new workplace brings Capital Games’ refreshed identity together with the industrial character of Sacramento’s historic Ice Blocks Building. I focused on translating the Studio’s energy and personality into bold EGD inspired by franchise artwork, while working with Studio leadership and the architect to connect the visual language with both the local team culture and the architectural vision.
- Developed in collaboration with the architect and Studio leadership, the phased EGD strategy combines Studio brand elements with bold graphics and color, adding energy and character throughout the space and allowing for future updates.
- The phased EGD strategy combines Studio brand elements, a light touch of the EA Hero Brand, approved franchise artwork and sculptures, and updatable artwork displays to add energy and dimension while allowing the space to evolve over time.
- A custom mural by a local artist celebrates Sacramento’s mural culture, while a two-story pegboard installation and Employee Art Program showcases the Studio identity in a playful, unexpected way.
